Requirements:
1. High school diploma or GED required
2. Must be comfortable with Hands-on and help assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
3. Must have a Valid Driver's License and 18yrs of age, Automobile Insurance, and reliable transportation.
4. Open availability needed Days, Evenings, Overnights, Weekends, and Holidays.
5.Must pass a background and drug test If hired you will have to go through the CDSS process.
This job consists of Home Care Service, and working with other agencies, Area12, Hospice, VA.
Looking for the following:
PCA, HHA, or CNA or at least one year of professional caregiving experience. We will train the right person.
Job Requirements:
Transfer, Cooking, Meal Preparation, Shopping, Light Cleaning, Hygienic tasks including; Bathing, Oral care, and Toileting, Respite Care, Hospice Comfort Care.
No more the 20% Light Housekeeping, 80% Personal Care Services we provide.
IN REGARDS TO COVID-19 AND OUR CAREGIVERS:
1.In-person interviews are 6ft distance, face mask.
Orientations are with only few new hires at a time, with the trainer using 6ft social distancing. Our Team members are trained in infectious disease control.
2. We use masks, Our Home Care Aides will not care for those who exhibit signs of or have been tested positive for the virus as a safekeeping measure for themselves and for their other clients and families.
3. Our Home Care Aides have a step by step questionnaire to follow in their axis care program to stay home if they are ill with any sickness so as to not infect any of our clients or their family members and requires a note from the Dr. to return to work.
4. Our Team members follows hygiene procedures directed by the CDC: Frequent handwashing with soap and water, use of sanitizing gels with 70% alcohol level or higher, use of disinfectant wipes to frequently wipe down surfaces, proper coughing and sneezing techniques, disposal of any items that may have virus or bacteria, and much more.
5. If any of our Team members or their clients should show signs of COVID-19, we will report, isolate and quarantine, as necessary, abiding by national and local guidelines. A Dr’s note will be required to return to work or working with clients.
