As a phlebotomist/ Medical Assistant for Discovery Health Services, you will be collecting samples for Covid testing.The ideal candidate should be comfortable in collecting a variety of other information in relation to the test as well as label the vials that have been filled. The candidate must have a reliable form of transportation, a current CPT license or Medical Assistant diploma or certificate must be able to multitask, be responsible, independent, and able to work unsupervised. The candidate should have great communication and organizational skills. This is a Full-time position. Monday-Friday 9 am-6 pm (hours may vary)
Job duties entail:
Nasal Swab Collection.
Practice proper patient identification
Expect to work with a large number of patients varying in age and health status
Great communication skills with the office and staffing members.
be friendly, courteous, and sympathetic when it comes to working with patients
practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment
