What's the opportunity? To be a part of an energetic team, serving patients, treating them like family, and providing the absolute highest quality eye care possible. The position at our front desk is a team position. You will be the first and last person our patients interact with (either on the phone or face to face), and so you need to be good. . .really good. We have fun and we work HARD! It bears repeating - we work hard - all day.
Who we are looking for? Because this is healthcare, you have to be nearly obsessive about your work. In order to be a good fit for this position you must be a fanatic about details. You must be willing to work in a tight-knit team and have a customer service mentality. You must enjoy educating people as you do your job, be confident, and very flexible. You need to be able to think on your feet, stop in the middle of a task, and then pick it up later without skipping a beat. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical. You must possess a deep and intrinsic curiosity and a willingness to learn. You'll need to understand complex things about healthcare and insurance, but be able to explain it simply to patients and family.
