Our RDA’s are passionate about providing exceptional dental care and treatment for patients. They engage patients in reception, escort them back to operatory using red carpet method and are responsible for performing a variety of activities at both the Auburn and Grass Valley sites.

RDA Float activities include:

Being a valued member of the dental team, participate in team huddles to review scheduling and daily operational needs

Taking an active role in preparing our patients and operatory for treatment with pride to perform exceptional dentistry for endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, prosthodontics and restorative procedures

Connecting with patients, make them feel comfortable and welcomed

Having the flexibility to work with several Dentists in any given shift if needed

Taking impressions and completing laboratory duties such as pouring up, trimming models, and the making of bleach trays/night guards.

Capturing digital x-rays with all landmarks present and document missing teeth or dental prosthesis

Documenting exam findings and dental care services

Enjoying the ability to work at both Auburn and Grass Valley camuses

Collaborating with Dentists, Hygienists, Sterilization technicians and other Chapa-De team members to perform these and other functions pertaining to dentistry procedures

Qualifications:

Current RDA license.

Graduate from High School.

Current CPR certificate.

One year experience as chair side assistant, working with digital x-ray software/sensors and using computer based applications in a professional manner.

Current CDL, clean DMV printout and proof of auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional licenses and/or certificates in dental, orthodontics or medical.

Experience using electronic health record.

Experience working in a clinical setting or with a large team dynamic.

Experience working in an orthodontic environment.
