We are now accepting resumes for Retreat Staff who will start in January at the Applegate Jesuit Retreat Center.
If you enjoy providing excellent guest service but don’t want to be stuck behind a desk, this may be the job for you. Depending on your skills and desire to learn, you will be able to fill your work days keeping guests happy through:
FOOD SERVICE: assisting in meal preparation, supplies management and kitchen area cleaning.
HOUSEKEEPING: sleeping and meeting area preparation; cleaning guest areas; responding to guest housekeeping requests.
GROUNDSKEEPING: assisting in grounds, buildings and equipment maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in some combination of:
Food Service
Janitorial / Housekeeping
General Grounds & Building Maintenance
Customer Service
The starting pay is $15/hour with variable schedule of 20 hours per week including weekend days. Staff meals may be available.
Background requirements include:
Department of Justice/FBI criminal background and sexual offender registry check
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Annual sexual offender registry check.
