Established, reputable, fast paced restoration and custom construction company looking for a long term, well-rounded Carpenter, multi-trade experience a plus. All applicants must have a clean appearance and a positive attitude as you may at times be dealing directly with our clients. Applicants will be subject to a background check and drug screening, must have reliable transportation and be willing to work in ALL service areas. While our main location is based in Folsom, we service the greater Sacramento region, the surrounding foothills, and Sonoma County. We are conducting interviews immediately upon application submission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Read and understand project blueprints (a plus)
Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
Work with building materials such as wood, drywall, stucco, concrete, sheet-metal & roofing products.
Knowledgeable in wall, roof, stair framing, all aspects of rough and finish carpentry.
Knowledgeable to install drywall, tape and texture to match existing conditions.
Utilize varied hand tools and power tools, to repair and erect structures.
Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
Work off of ladders/scaffolding.
Knowledgeable of building codes and specifications.
Use levels, plumb bobs, framing squares, and or power instruments to ensure accuracy.
Install cabinets and trims, baseboards, crown molding etc.
Install interior and exterior doors, sliding glass doors and windows.
Perform perimeters foundation for house remodels.
Must be able to lift over 50lb.
Ability to oversee work of trades subcontractors.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Foundation to framing start to finish must be your strong skills. Please do not apply unless you are proficient is these areas.
Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines, reliable, dependable, excellent communication skills, problem solver, Team Player, positive and helpful attitude.
Plumbing, electrical, concrete, roofing, multi-trade experience is a plus but not required.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions and must be prepared for both extreme and heat and cold.
Ability to be available for on-call work.
Courses completed in carpentry a plus but not required
