RAWR is a small, woman owned raw cat food company that has recently moved its production to Grass Valley. We focus on sustainable healthy meals for cats throughout the west coast. We are currently available in 6 states and looking to expand further.
We are part food production and part warehouse. Staff weighs, grinds and packs cat food in addition to boxing and shipping orders. This job requires being on your feet for 6-8 hours at a time, be able to lift up to 50lbs, working at times in a cold environment, being comfortable working with raw meat and having the ability to move fluidly from one task to another being aware of what needs to be prioritized. There is a fair amount of clean up including breaking down and cleaning our machinery, running dishes through our commercial dishwasher and sanitizing the workspace. We keep our space pristine and expect all protocols to be followed.

We are looking for a team of dedicated staff members, we take great pride in having good relationships with our staff and understand that you have a life beyond your workplace. We are open to working with your schedule and offer competitive compensation.
Our hours are generally Monday-Friday 8-6. Shifts are 6 hours and usually 8-3 or 12-6. There is flexibility on days and times but we are looking for a consistent schedule for all staff with a minimum availability of 3 days a week. We can offer you anywhere from 20-35 hours a week depending on your availability. Benefits will be discussed once we have an idea of weekly hours.
You must be honest, reliable, and on time. Flexibility moving between tasks and being able to pitch in where needed while maintaining focus is necessary. We are taking extreme precautions during this pandemic and expect you to do the same. We require all staff be vaccinated and be able to show proof before hire.
$16-18 to start DOE
Experience in manufacturing, kitchen or janitorial work a plus. Please respond with information about yourself, previous work experience, if there is something in particular you think would suit you best (ie dishwashing, packaging etc) and your current availability.
