LOOKING FOR A PART-TIME PHOTOGRAPHER TO JOIN OUR TEAM!
We are an exciting photography studio in Historic Folsom, and we are looking for an individual to join our team. A fresh creative individual that loves photography.
As a photographer with us, you will gain a wealth of knowledge and have fun doing it! The position we are offering is part-time at the moment, however, working in our studio you will have the possibility for plenty of work.
The successful candidate would be proficient in the use of a DSLR camera shooting in manual i.e. Canon 5D MKIV, and the ability to edit a little in Photoshop CS6 or higher.
On a day to day basis, our photographer's duties include greeting guests coming to our studio, taking clients out on photo shoots in the surrounding areas of historic Folsom, sitting in with clients on viewing appointments, and also editing down (culling) photography sessions, sales and generally assisting around the studio.
To perform these duties, our staff must have intermediate knowledge and ability to perform tasks, in these two areas listed below:
Use of editing software:
Your required knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom includes confidence in your ability to retouch skin tone, knowledge of curves, levels, and color-correcting as necessary.
Adobe Photoshop CS6 or higher
Adobe Lightroom
Adobe Bridge CS6 or higher
Photography knowledge:
We are looking for someone who has an eye for photography with the ability to capture the special candid moments.
Full knowledge of how to use a DSLR camera shooting in RAW
Knowledge of different lenses
Basic knowledge of studio lighting
Photo Editing
Additionally, the ideal candidate for this role will also possess an intermediate knowledge of some or all of the following skills, as well as being highly motivated and driven to succeed, be a team player, and be able to multi-task:
Willing to learn, teach and answer the phone if necessary.
Social media marketing
Organized and proactive
Enhancing images
Attention to details
