PART-TIME RESIDENT ASSISTANT APARTMENT MANAGER
We are seeking an on-site assistant manager for 55 apartment homes in a quiet area close to I-80 in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
Applicant is required to live on site and maintain scheduled office hours in our on-site leasing office Thursday through Saturday (approx. 20-22 hrs per week).
Strong customer service skills, excellent verbal and written English skills and proficient basic computing skills with Word and Excel are required for this position.
Leasing skills, knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and California Real Estate Laws as they pertain to property management are preferred, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate renting activities including unit turnover/maintenance work, answering phones, showing vacancies, accepting applications, tenant screening, performing move-in/move-out and other inspections, completing leases and other administrative paperwork.
Collect all rent when due, record rents in property management software, make bank deposits.
Monitor property daily to inspect for damage, litter/trash, hazardous conditions, unlawful behavior and/or violations of house rules.
Basic cleaning of small leasing office, multi-purpose room and laundry room.
Respond to tenant maintenance requests and coordinate necessary repairs with maintenance staff.
Serve legal notices and prepare reports as required.
A two-bedroom, one bath apartment, plus $200/month, paid water, garbage, sewer, and industry educational opportunities are offered as compensation for this position. Total compensation with value of apartment approximately $1,475/month.
