Account Manager for IT Managed Service Provider

As a member of the Sales and Marketing departments, the Account Manager will be responsible for selling Fortis' portfolio of services to both existing customers and new prospects. For existing accounts - you will keep a pulse on the happenings in your assigned accounts, holding annual business reviews and scouting our opportunities for cross-sell & upsell. For new business - you will be focused on identifying new opportunities, securing meetings, presenting solutions and closing new business to meet established goals.

Additionally, the Account Manager will assist the Vice President of Sales in establishing partnerships with influencers, referral partners and re-sellers

RESPONSIBILITIES

>> Farming Existing Account Base

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

Retain existing revenue and achieve sales goals for assigned accounts

Create & execute account plans and tactics to win new business from existing accounts

Prepare and hold QBRs to demonstrate value and nurture relationship

Mine referrals and social proof from satisfied customers

Cross-sell, up sell

Feedback loop in terms of quality of service

Provide insight into our customers' wants/needs

>> New Business Development

Fearlessly prospect for new businesses to pitch our services

Follow up with incoming Leads

Get out into the region and evangelize the benefits of working with Fortis

Maintain and update CRM with all correspondence/quotes/touch points/interactions with prospects & customers.

>> Partner Recruiting and Management

Identify potential referral partners and re-sellers

Approach and vet prospect partners

Pitch, close and onboard new partners

Partner enablement - provide ongoing sales/marketing support

Act as primary contact for Partners

Work with partners and their teams to achieve set goals

Provide insight into channel performance and wants/needs

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Communication, or comparable).

Proven work experience selling technical services (IT or Telcom)

Experience utilizing CRM system.

DESIRED SKILLS

Proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role.

Excellent listening and presentation abilities.

Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs.

Excellent time management skills.

Passionate "people person" with an affinity for building relationships.

CONSIDERED A PLUS

Telcom or VoIP Sales experience

Salesforce.com experience
