Sales Account Manager for Sculpture Design Studio

Vacancy expired!

We are a nationally recognized design studio with a stable of blue-chip clients located across the globe. We design and create custom sculptures that are commissioned by both corporate and non-profit customers. Most of these sculptures are used as high-end recognition awards. Our design studio is a dynamic, creative, and flexible work environment located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills in Placerville, CA.

We are looking for an account manager to work with clients from initial inquiry through project completion. There are both pre-sales and post-sales components to this role. From a pre-sales perspective, you will be responsible for responding to potential clients when they make a purchase inquiry via phone or email, assessing their needs, and then developing a specific quote/proposal that meets these requirements. From a post-sales perspective, you will serve as a project manager to ensure that the client’s award project gets produced and delivered on time and on budget. This will entail working with clients, designers, and outside production vendors.

Initially, you will support a group of senior Account Supervisors on the projects they have taken the lead on. Over time, as you become knowledgeable about our business, you will assume responsibility for your own accounts.

The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be extremely client-service oriented. The candidate should also be outgoing and comfortable being proactive in their interactions with both potential and existing clients. Additionally, given the nature of our work, they should have an excellent eye for design. Finally, the candidate must be very organized and detail-oriented.

Compensation and benefits: The position offers a base pay of $20/hour. After a three-month probationary period, employees will be eligible for paid vacation and participation in the company’s profit-sharing program.

Work schedule: Approximately 30-35 hours per week. The job will require on-site work from 9am – 4pm Monday through Thursday. Some work from home or remotely may be required on Fridays depending on lead volume and workload.
