Rare Opportunity for Skilled Automotive Service Technicians
Sterling Auto Repair is a professional full service repair facility that gives exceptional customer service. We are located in the foothills of Amador County; "The Heart of the Mother Lode". A nice easy 45-minute commute from Sacramento going against the traffic in both directions. Our facility is over 12,000 square feet and our business is growing! We have the best employees in town and we need to add to our team the following superstars: Automotive Master Technician / Automotive Diesel Service Technician with experience in diagnosing and repairing any of the following: Powerstroke, Duramax and Cummins diesels. We are offering a Signing Bonus, starting pay $25 to $35 hourly plus a production based bonus.
We're open from 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday Friday / Weekends Off
We have a well-stocked parts department, parts advisor and two service advisors. All you need to worry about is the car you're working on. Uniforms and laundry service are provided. Health insurance is available for employees (after 90 days), 3 sick days, paid vacation (1 week after one year, two weeks after four years). We recognize the following 6 paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. We are always closed the Friday after Thanksgiving! Retirement plan is available upon request.
We provide a clean and safe work environment; the best factory level equipment is available for you to use to make quality repairs. We provide full access to any information or websites needed to find the correct repair information and provide update training.
Sterling Auto Repair is a smoke free, drug free, drama free work shop.
ASE certification is helpful however not necessary. You will need to provide your own tools; any specialty tools will be provided by the shop. You must have a valid drivers' license with a clean driving record. All prospective employees will be subject to a background check and drug test.
