Comfort Plumbing Systems, Inc. in Nevada County is hiring an experienced full time equipment operator with some underground plumbing and equipment mechanical experience for our rapidly growing family business. We do full service plumbing for residential and commercial, septic systems and new construction. Uniforms and a work truck are provided. Employees must be reliable, efficient, have integrity, display strong troubleshooting skills, problem solving, have strong customer service skills. Wages are DOE on experience. Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of operating equipment, excavators and backhoes
Underground plumbing experience and understanding
Underground utility experience a plus
Understanding of the current regulations within the field
Equipment mechanical skills a plus
Desire to work with Cal Fire operating equipment during fire season a plus
Maintain a positive outlook and have a willingness to learn
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Have a customer-first mindset, interact with the customer, and use common language to explain services needed.
Be professional, accurate, and timely with invoices, time cards, and feedback
Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
Able to lift 50 lbs., willing to dig, labor, put pipe together
Have a valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
A Class A license is a plus.
