Service Writer

Want to get away from the city? We are a fast-growing diesel repair shop in the foothills with a shop in Applegate, CA. We are looking for a service writer to join our mobile and shop team!
Owner operated since 1997, G & T Truck Repair is known for doing exceptional work, repairing and maintaining trucks and trailers for a number of companies from around the region. We know it's not just the truckers and trucking companies that depend on us. With that in mind, there is no room for average work here. We strive to be the best and do the best work, period.
We are looking for a top-notch service writer to join our team. The ideal applicant will have exceptional customer service skills, be able to handle a high-stress environment, and willing to learn the ins and outs of our shop.
Service Writer Responsibilities:
Dispatch road mechanics
Organize and keep records of inspections and services
Inform customers of progress and schedule
Create daily schedules for mechanics
Qualifications:
2 years experience a plus, but willing to train the right person
Clean, valid driver’s license required
Drug-free
Punctual
Self-motivated
Positive team player
Exceptional customer service skills and friendly disposition
