Description Skilled Financial Analyst candidates will be interested in Robert Half new job opening. Financial Analyst candidates will be interested in this position, where they will have the opportunity to become key business partners in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. If you're looking for work where you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans, this is a good fit for you. You will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. Located in the Goleta, California, area, this Financial Analyst is remote and is a long term contract role. How you will make an impact Work closely with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Research performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
Execute and monitor forecasting reports
Analyze annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations and supply information to business partners to inform decision making
Keep up weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process by working with Accounting
Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Requirements - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and time management
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
General accounting, financial analysis , or business administration experience
Hyperion Enterprise experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data skills
Flexible individual that feels comfortable operating under high expectations while dealing with a large amount of information
