A Production Associate Senior within the Wafer and Focal Plane Processing Department must demonstrate a safety first work routine, have a basic understanding of the technical aspects associated with his/her assigned process and the ability to work with process engineering to resolve production issues.The individual needs to be able to coordinate work flow with co-workers and effectively communicate with engineering and management.Participation in cross training activities is required.Routine work is performed with minimal supervision.The individual in this position will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of the wafer fabrication processes.Duties include the operation of photoresist coating, hotplate, surface treatment, microscope, and inspection tools.The ability to perform and document weekly SPC activities.A critical skill set is the ability to work with computers in order to follow the written instructions, track WIP, document required data and operate the equipment.Attention to detail and the ability to follow written work instructions is mandatory.Mechanical aptitude, the ability to work in a class 100 cleanroom and the flexibility to work overtime or weekends to meet the factory’s needs are also required. Working hours for this position will be standard day shift (630AM-3PM) for training period (6 months), and then will hours will stagger to 9AM-530PM once necessary certifications have been acquired. Required Skills:Requires a minimum of 4 years' professional experience with a high school diploma or GED.

Ability to work safely with various machining and processing equipment, chemicals and raw production materials.

Ability to work in a yellow light class 100 cleanroom environment.

Able to accurately read and follow detailed equipment operating and product process specific instructions.

Intermediate computer skills, ability to accurately record process parameters, strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to handle delicate hardware.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
