The Systems Engineering Integration and Test Department at Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) has a career-growth opportunity for a Systems Engineer who is committed and passionate about EO and IR solutions.An effective candidate will be experienced working in a fast paced team orientedenvironment and engage in the detailed design, analysis, trade studies, manufacturing and test of EO/IR subsystems. The candidate must be experienced in assembly, testing and verification of EO/IR products along with working within both a developmental and production environment.Design, manufacturing and test experience in visible, SWIR, MWIR and LWIR products and subsystems, is desired.The team member should be self-motivated and be prepared to work with a passionate team with a creative mindset. The candidate must have a drive to learn and push the boundaries of technology.Required Skills:Must have at least 6 years of related technical experience in processing, test and engineering support or manufacturing, preferably in EO/IR technology areas.
Hands on experience in the design support for production, SPC analysis, Prototype manufacturing, troubleshooting and testing of EO/IR Subsystems
Working with CCB, engineering technical data package change management
Trade studies defining EO/IR test architecture, IV&V
Bidding and proposal development for EO/IR subsystems and sustainment
Supporting requirements development and validation
Self-Motivated to Learn; Go Getter Personality
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. DOD Secret Security Clearance within one year of employment.
Desired Skills:Experience working with Matlab for EO/IR analysis
Optical and radiometric testing or analysis
