Description Robert Half is hiring a Payroll Clerk for one of our clients in the Food & Food Processing industry—if you want to join a dynamic, fast-growing team, you are encouraged to apply! This role consists of supporting the Payroll department in a variety of responsibitlies, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should be experienced in communicating between various teams, such as the internal team and outside customers. If you reside in the the Hanford, California area and are looking for short-term contract / temporary employment, then this Payroll Clerk position may be for you.Key responsibilitiesSupply the organization with instructions/training regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

Build and run custom reports
Make sure data entered into spreadsheets and the payroll system is accurate
Administer and distribute reports as instructed
Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc Requirements - Experience with Accounting Entries
Payroll experience desired
Process Payroll experience preferred
Proven knowledge of Kronos
Strong familiarity with Process Bi-weekly Payroll
Knowledge of Payroll Functions
Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel
3+ years of previous payroll experience
Excellent data entry skills
Strong attention to detail
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Skillful in learning new processes and systems
Payroll software experience recommended
Highly organized and self-motivated
