Job DescriptionLove working with your handsAre you drawn to technical or mechanical workKelly Services has the job for you! we are currently hiring for Mechanical assemblers for one of our fast paced growing customer in Hollister CA. The selected candidates will have a great skill set full of hands on experience, high attention to detail and so on. Sounds like you If selected the assemblers will be responsible for the following responsibilities:-Work under direct supervision.-Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.-Set up and use analytical balance.-Perform inert assembly operations.-Minor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work.-Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.-Some minor set-up capability for specific equipment.-Performs various production assembly operations on components-Uses visual aids, drawings and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re-work or re-assemble units. Receives detailed instruction on new assignments.-If required, attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements. (i.e. JSTD)Shifts available:M-TH6am -430pmSwing ShiftM-TH4PM-12AMRequirementsEducation Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Required: 1 year industry assembly work.
Skill Requirements: Powder handling & weighing experience
Able to lift 50LBS
Able to work OT required for Friday and Saturday as needed.
