Come join our team of professionals! UpNorht Humboldt are a licensed cannabis distribution company looking for an Accounts Receivable professional to assist in daily finance and accounting operations as well as help in various other clerical tasks as needed. In this role, you will be the responsible for all Accounts Receivable for the entire state and will be interacting with our customers, salespeople and UpNorth personnel in order to resolve billing issues and make collection calls. In addition, you will be responsible for helping with multiple administrative assistant tasks such as filing, preparing reports, data entry, etc. The right individual for this position will be flexible and prepared to jump into numerous and diverse assignments!

You should have excellent communication and analytical skills along with a strong attention to detail. Experience working with startups and in a high-growth environment would also be helpful. Customer satisfaction and care is key in maintaining ongoing client relationships while also accurately resolving any issues and identifying any problems. The Accounts Receivable professional is responsible for the development and implementation of procedures to affect the timely collection of payments.

What You'll Do:

-Collection calls to customers to reduce outstanding Accounts Receivable

-Contact customers to resolve invoice discrepancies

-Timely and accurate reporting of collection efforts and resolutions

-Maintain digital versions of customer accounts to include updated accounting information

-Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures regarding terms, credit, and collection of funds

-Filing, data entry, etc. as needed

-Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

-A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related area preferred 1-2 years of collections or accounting -experience

-Detail-oriented with superb organizational skills

-Excellent communication skills required

-Microsoft Excel knowledge a plus

-Experience with QuickBooks and an Inventory Management system is desired. Experience with Microsoft Office is required
