Part to Full-time Accounting Position in McKinleyville.
Desire a positive, assertive, creative attitude and a self starter. Must be able to work independently.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Quickbooks, and a big plus for Sage 50.
SUMMARY
Full-charge bookkeeping and administrative support.
Timely production of mandatory reports, audits, data and financial documentation; prepares a variety of correspondence and spreadsheets; provides critical, accurate information for use by multiple departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
⢠Month end closing process
⢠Prepares schedules as requested
⢠Reconciles revenues with general ledger and cash
⢠Prepares monthly financial documentation for review
Prepares quarterly and YE Payroll reports to the IRS & EDD
⢠Processes AP invoices, purchase orders, packing slips
⢠Updates various databases as directed
⢠Participates in Annual Audit Process
⢠Prepares various audit schedules as required
⢠Prepares and maintains company contracts and agreements
⢠Provides routine administrative assistance to management
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Two years of college level coursework with an emphasis in accounting; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
