Stepping Stones Extended Day Care Program (LIC. # 125407199) is seeking an After Care Program Director. Our program is on site at Coastal Grove Charter School. The hours of program operation are from 1:00pm-5:30pm on Mondays, and 3:00pm-5:30pm Tuesday through Friday. The Director will have working hours beyond this for preparation of activites, snacks, parent outreach, and other related tasks. This position is part-time, totaling approximately
18-22 hours per week. Applicants must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, have a current TB test clearance, be current in CPR and First Aide requirements, and up to date on their required immunizations. Candidates must have a love and enthusiasm for working with school age children and strong interpersonal skills. The Director must hold units in Child Development as well as the necessary qualifications related to Community Care Licensing's Title 22 requirements for a School Age Program Director. The program observes all Arcata School District holiday closures and does not run during the summer months. The position begins with preparation hours and training on Monday, August 19th. The program starts Monday, August 26th.
