Do you have experience with infants and youth? The First Presbyterian Church of Eureka is seeking a warm, friendly, dependable Nursery Care Giver for our children and Youth Ministry programs. Hours are 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. each Sunday, but may often run until 11:30 a.m. Under supervision of the Nursery Attendant the Nursery Care Giver will provide care and supervision to children ages 0-4. Typical duties include greeting parents; signing children into and out of the nursery; providing direct supervision; maintaining a clean and safe environment; serving and cleaning up snacks; and organizing and putting away of toys.
Successful applicants will have knowledge of needs, and developmentally appropriate behavior, and activities for children 0-4; a sincere interest in children; and previous experience. Individuals must pass TB (tuberculosis) test and Live Scan background check as well as hold current First Aid and CPR certifications prior to employment. Compensation is $11.00 per hour.
