Ramone's Bakery and Cafe has openings for an experienced bartender and a server at our Harrison Ave. location.
We are looking for a positive thinking, social, energetic, multi-tasking people who have a genuine interest in people along with a knowledge of fine wine and craft beer.
Duties include running the bar, from pouring and serving beverages and food to cleaning and keeping signage updated. Answering the phone, taking food orders, helping the rest of the team run the floor and do side work.
Hours are primarily evenings. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Please note we are a POOLED TIP team, the bar is wine and beer only and the bartender does a whole lot more than pour!
The successful applicant will have some or all of the following:
- prior service experience and a strong understanding and appreciation for coffee, food, craft beer and wine.
- a flexible schedule and a desire to work.
- an outgoing personality.
- the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
- current food handler card.
- experience with iPad POS software or a general knowledge of working with an iPad.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the service industry
- Must be 21 years of age.
