Full Time Physical Therapist Position Open!
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Assesses patients medical status/functional loss and establishes and implements a plan of treatment that provides for achievement of optimum level of function using sound judgment and psychological sensitivity. Maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current in CPR certification.
2. Physical, auditory and visual requirements.
3. Emotional stability conducive to dealing with a high stress level for 8 hours at a time associated to dealing with fast-paced physical activity, rapidly changing conditions, creative problem solving, emotional demands and demands of maintaining effective working relationship with patients and peers.
4. High level of organizational skills with keen mental faculties to perform assessment and decision making skills in the management acute and chronically ill patients.
5. Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with certificate, BS, MS or PhD.
6. Eligible for licensing or licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
7. Communication/speaking/annunciation skills to receive and give information in person or by telephone.
