We are looking for a back office medical assistant to join our team who is highly motivated, has strong self-initiative, and will commit to helping us provide the highest standard of patient care and service to our patients, customers and community. We are a very busy practice and a certain amount of stress comes with this type of practice. We can see a average of 60 to 120 patients in a day, depending on how many doctors are in the clinic. We have two locations, one in Eureka and one in Arcata. This position is for the Arcata location. Depending on staffing we do share employees. This is a full time position 30-40 hours with a generous benefit package.
Required Skills:
Proactive and complete clinician support.
Competent in Sterile technique and general procedures/instruments.
Displays courteous and professional behavior in all interaction with patients and coworkers.
Team player required!
Comes to work in clean scrubs and adheres to dress code expectations.
Experience in EMR
We are seeking candidates with MA Certification or equivalent experience.
Ophthalmology experience preferred, but not necessary
Ability to travel between the two offices if necessary.
