Medicare Biller

The Medicare Biller is responsible for the timely billing of claims; follow-up on claims, which includes addressing resolution updates, claim adjustments and corrections within DDE; address denied and deferred claims; and keeping abreast of any changes in the CMS guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive knowledge of health Insurance, health Insurance contracts, and health Insurance hospital billing
Prefer at least two years of experience in billing or related field
Knowledge of/familiarity with CMS guidelines & DDE program
Good verbal and written communication skills
Computer, typing and 10-key skills required
Ability to interact with office staff, department managers and get along well with others
Wages are based on prior related experience.
