We are a state licensed cannabis farm located 30 minutes south of Fortuna, about 15 miles off the 101, looking for a full-time farmhand with minimum 3-5 years of experience in farming.
Ideally, this person demonstrates the following qualities: passionate worker, capable of performing manual labor, smart, observant, self-starter and competent team member. Basically we are looking for someone who is handy and able to do hard labor (ie build a greenhouse), as well as skilled tasks (ie sales, cloning, etc.), observant and can pay attention to details (ie notice mold and pest issues) and self-reliant (ie doesn't need constant guidance and supervision). Must also work well with others and have lived in Humboldt.
We are looking for someone who is able to complete any of the various farming jobs that might come up and have solid transportation as well as their own set of tools. If work is done efficiently and we are happy with the results and work ethic, year-round employment can be discussed as well as on accommodations.
