Maintenance Worker/Mechanic

Kokatat, a recognized worldwide leader in innovative technical paddle sports apparel and accessories, continues to grow. We are seeking to hire a Full-Time Maintenance Worker/Mechanic.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Significant mechanical and building maintenance experience such as small machine and motor mechanics, light plumbing and

electrical, maintenance carpentry, compressed air systems.

• Competence with hand and power tools.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Must interact courteously and professionally with other employees.

• Ability to keep accurate records of activities, materials used, time, results, problems.

• Proactive problem solver, within the context of team and supervision.

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

• Ability to take accurate measurements and perform basic math calculations.

• Current driver's license, clean driving record and personal vehicle insurance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembles and Installs new equipment and machines. Relocates exisiting equipment and machines as needed.

• Makes more complex repairs and adjustments on all machines and equipment.

• Cleans, maintains and makes basic adjustments, parts replacements and repairs to single-needle sewing machines and seam

sealing machines.

• Maintains and repairs building and building systems (painting, carpentry, plumbing, etc.).

• Assists in construction or installation of new systems and components such as running new communications, power or

compressed air lines, building stands or tables, building new equipment (designed by others).

• Purchases parts and supplies, both locally and from catalogs, and maintains department parts and supplies inventory.

• Assist with clean up, custodial and janitorial duties as needed.

• Other duties as assigned
