Direct Support Professionals:
Several Full Time positions available.
Provide support to people who have developmental challenges. They live in their own homes and staff work with them one on one. We help them access and participate in community life, increase their level of independence, and achieve personal goals. This can include hiking the trails, going to meet friends for karaoke, shopping, gardening, going to the doctor, taking a class, learning how to mop the floor efficiently, doing laundry and everything else that goes in to living a full life.

PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a vehicle that is insured and in good working condition that you can use for work .because many of the clients we serve have physical or behavioral challenges that make using the bus not a great option or needs that take them beyond the minimal bus routes provided in Humboldt.
Must have good written and oral communication skills because you work one on one with clients and you are part of a team that needs you to share information.
Must have reasonable critical thinking sills .because the people you are hired to support rely on you.
Must have initiative to get the job done .because you are working in a one on one environment with people who rely on your support.
Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance because we need to ensure the safety of the people we support.
