We currently have an opening for an Administrative Assistant and are seeking a qualified person with excellent customer service skills.

We are a 4th generation family owned auto repair business. We take great pride in being a Top Shop in Humboldt County providing the highest level of auto repair. Our ASE Certified and Master Certified techs keep up with the latest innovations in vehicle repair and technology. They can handle everything including basic maintenance, diagnostics and highly technical or specialty repairs.

About The Position

The Admin Assistant position includes but is not limited to:

Greet customers, answer and route incoming calls, and provide excellent customer service

Schedule appointments

Cash out customers, balance of cash register and prepare daily deposits

General office duties including filing, inventory management, etc

Customer follow up and appointment confirmation

Maintain clean and organized office space and customer waiting area

Drive customer shuttle

Manage accounts receivable and submit agency invoices for payment

Process accounts payable, organize invoices, statement reconciliation, and filing

Create email announcement and follow up for promotional events and drawing winner announcements.

Edit forms and marketing pieces in Microsoft Publisher, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months general office experience required

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Publisher & Excel

10 Key calculator experience a plus

Excellent telephone & interpersonal communication skills

Ability to count cash and make change accurately

Self-motivated, dependable, organized and accurate

Willingness to learn new programs, policies and responsibilities

Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities

Consistent, accurate and timely in data entry and other duties

Professional demeanor and ability to work in a team environment

Clean driving record and pass pre-employment drug screening
