Adams Commercial General Contracting is looking for an experienced Construction Administrator . We are a local owned well established construction firm that focuses primarily on public works and commercial building projects.
The Primary responsibility is to assist the project manager with administrative support. Other duties include:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Construction administration including preparing contracts, purchase orders, architectural submittals, RFIs, Operation and Maintenance manuals, and other tasks to assist construction projects.
Interface with Architects, Engineers, Owners, and Suppliers.
Assist Onsite Superintendents.
Assist as needed with bid preparation. Proof read documents.
Assist finance manager with Accounts payable.
Subcontractor compliance. Create and maintain subcontractor files. Keep checklist of contracts, insurance, OSHA information, safety plans, W9, EMR Rates, etc. Ensures insurance certificates of the subcontractors are up to date
Stamp, scan and log invoices and subcontractor pay applications.
Maintain company safety manual.
Prepare and maintain physical files for subcontractors and vendors.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
REQURED SKILLS:
Use Computers. Communicate by telephone, email or in person on a daily basis.
Full knowledge of Microsoft Office
Organize, plan and prioritize work
Document and record information.
Set tasks and goals for the day independently.
Work as part of a team
