Role of the Office/Operations Manager (OM):
Achieve the financial performance and revenue growth strategy of for our practice. The OM
needs to be an expert in their local market, leveraging best practices for patient care and
retention. The OM provides the leadership and guidance to achieve individual and team success.
The OM supports and drives the practice mission and culture.
Responsibilities of the Dental Operations Manager:
Oversee thriving dental practice.
Supervising employees
Build office morale by promoting a supportive team environment that fosters longevity
Assisting in practice growth
Maintaining clear communication with the doctor
Managing all day-to-day operations and responsibilities of assigned practices
including employee relations, patient relations, achieving operational goals, and
tracking KPIs
Achieving revenue goals by effectively managing the office teams, patient scheduling, staff
productivity, and receivables
Increasing patient growth and retention by supporting sales, marketing, and promotional
programs
Ensuring successful execution of operational standards, including compliance with established
company policies and procedures
Requirements of the Dental Operations Manager:
Minimum 5 years of Office Management or Operations experience

Ability to learn new systems and software programs. Skills required include use of knowledge of
WORD, EXCEL and Accounting and Patient software applications, and use of standard office
equipment.

Requires knowledge of Dental Plans, fees, general plan design, administrative guidelines,
limitations and exclusions, reporting systems; business correspondence and business reporting
techniques; and business principles of profit & loss statements.

Education:
Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Bachelors degree from an
accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience; prior
coursework or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistry, business, and/or human resources is preferred.
Compensation will commensurate with experience. PPO medical insurance, dental care, 401k, paid vacation, and paid holidays. Successful background check, drug test and reference check.
