Duties and responsibilities include:
Discuss treatment options and prepare financial arrangements with patients.
Interact with referring dental offices to ensure patient treatment is being followed up on.
Work hand in hand with the doctor during exams and consultations.
Actively participate as a contributing member of the office staff team to achieve patient satisfaction and office goals.
Perform various other duties as assigned including:
-Answering phones in a courteous and professional manner
-Scheduling appointments over the phone and in person (Involves speaking with parents as well as children)
-Performing basic clerical duties for the office
-Keeping the treatment area neat and clean
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and attributes:
Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Somebody who will be a team player and mesh well with our current staff
The position being offered is full time, Monday-Friday. We have three offices, one in Eureka, one in Arcata and one in Fortuna. Time is split between the offices and the entire staff travels between them; therefore, ability to commute to each location is an absolute must.
