JOB DESCRIPTION
We are searching for an engaging and courteous Barista/Gift Shop Cashier to join our high energy team in a fast paced environment. This customer service position is focused on the promotion and preparation of food and drinks, and includes the stocking and maintaining of our retail gift shop. The candidate will demonstrate a passion for Southern Humboldt history and enjoy interacting with locals and visitors alike.
Responsibilities:
Provide quality beverages and food products while following health, safety and sanitation guidelines
Use technology to stock and manage inventory for retail gift shop
Keep a clean and organized workspace so that team members can locate resources as needed
Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or special events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team
Provide excellent customer service with retail items, beverages, tourist attractions, and directions
Enthusiastically help tourists explore the area and learn about our/local history
Create a fun, positive, motivating work environment
You have:
Previous cafe experience.
Great customer service and a drive to go above and beyond for your team and your customer
A motivation to work hard and get things done the right way the first time.
