Hours are:

Monday “ Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. with a 60-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities:

Technician will preform duties to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately.

The ideal technician candidate must be able to diagnose malfunctions, as well as perform the necessary repairs for them.

Technician will preform vehicle repairs within their current capability/skill level.

In depth examination of any vehicle during repair, to determine if any safety or service work is needed or recommended.

Clearly record and document work that is preformed on the repair order.

Effectively communicate with the designated service manager or advisor when the above adjustments and additional work is needed.

Road test vehicles when required.

Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager.

Qualifications or Requirements:

At least 1-3 years of experience as an automotive technician.

Preferred ASE Certification.

High school diploma / Industry certification equivalent required.

Technician must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools.

Ability to bend, move, lift, and physically perform duties in the scope of this position.

Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replenishes as necessary.

Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed.

Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.

Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.

Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.

Ensures that customers vehicles are kept clean.

Maintains and is accountable for all shop-owned tools and manuals. Returns then to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received.

Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Must have a clean driving record.
