HIRING NOW: SKILLED CARPENTER ($35 PER HR).
Pending positions: CARPENTER'S ASSISTANT, HOMESTEAD HAND & FENCE REPAIR WORK ($20 PER HR) - JOBS on beautiful, private, rural, no drama, So Humboldt property.
- CARPENTER. Hiring NOW. Your choice - 2 weeks or 1-2+ months of project(s): Building nice, creative, quality shed/ storage buildings (16’x24’ - partially complete, 20’x40’ & 10’x12’) and various projects. Experience required. Pole building (10’x12’) experience a plus! Work is 5-6 days a week. ( - First building partially done. Want someone to finish that ASAP. Then you decide if want to stay for other building projects).
LEAD/SKILLED CARPENTER JOB IS PRIORITY. AFTER HIRED, FOCUS WILL BE ON THESE OTHER JOBS
- CARPENTER'S ASSISTANT. Help the carpenter with cutting, drilling, rebar, moving, holding wood being nailed, etc.
- HOMESTEAD HAND. Help with various tasks, including weeding, pruning, moving brush, lawn care, weed whacking, burn piles, water-system repairs (PVC and poly-pipe), etc. ($20 per hour). (Possible this work can be done by Carpenter's Asst when Carpenter doesn't require help).
- FENCING WORKER. (Job pending). Repairs needed on long runs of homestead ‘horse fencing’, with split redwood posts. Replacing / fixing fence and posts. Wire setting, etc. Weeks of work. Solo work. Must solve problems. Etc. Specific experience or carpentry / mechanical ‘knowhow’ needed. 5 days a week. ($20 per hour). (Possible this work can be done by Carpenter's Asst when Carpenter doesn't require help).
MUST HAVE job references, reliable transportation, tools, good communication skills, and clear a background check, etc. On site camping/housing with access to a shower and kitchen facilities may be an option. Payments will be weekly, in cash.
Job is in the hills, 35 minutes from Garberville, near Miranda. 25 minute drive off 101 - 7 miles of paved county road, then 3 miles of gravel country road to site.
