Job Description:
Position will include the operation of automated and semi-automated collection trucks on regular solid waste and recycling collection routes. In addition to collection routes job duties may include the operation of roll-off truck for delivery of large debris boxes throughout McKinleyville, Trinidad and Blue Lake.

Knowledge & Skills:
-Excellent customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations
-Strong time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
-Consistent ability to follow through with tasks; adheres to work schedule and solve challenges as they arise.
-Ability to perform repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling of carts and tarping of loads.
-Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
-Operate vehicle and equipment in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
-Required to work in all weather extremes including extreme hot or cold, wet or dry conditions.
-Ability to work on Holidays.
-Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and customers.
Job Requirements:
Class B Commercial Drivers License
1+ year of commercial vehicle driving experience
Clean driving record
Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
