Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionJob Profile SummaryOur Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is a global leader in imaging agents, used to improve and enhance the images that radiologists use to diagnose and monitor disease. We support healthcare professionals in the administration of neurology, cardiology and oncology procedures that are used to image three patients around the world, every second.This critical position will establish and manage outsourced manufacturing capacity required for short half-life radiopharmaceutical proprietary tracers within the PDx PET supply chain for the Americas region (US, Canada and South America). You will have the opportunity (and responsibility) to lead this for existing and new products, as the PDx portfolio continues to expand through both organic and inorganic growth strategies. The outsourced manufacturing capability includes scheduling, contract relationships operating, as well as financial metrics. Lean ways of working will be leveraged to ensure on time delivery, reliability and consistency. There is a high degree autonomy within the role and high levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required. You will be expected to oversee and drive projects like operational optimization and improvements, as well as lead a direct team.Roles and Responsibilities:Manage a network of contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) within the Americas region, while achieving defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Use lean as a way of working to ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. –

Lead a small to medium team of senior professionals, as well as others along their career journeys.

Actively contribute to the development of project, supply chain and business strategies, for example new product go-to-market strategy.

Interpret information from the manufacturing network and technical specialists and put it into context in order to ensure that projects and operational deliverables are carried forward on a sound technical basis.

Collaborate regularly with Commercial, R&D, and other functional partners both inside and outside of the Americas region to ensure early engagement in new business/product opportunities and to share project progress in order to align groups around common project data.

Interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stay informed of industry trends that may inform work.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

5+ years of operational experience, preferably with radiopharmaceuticals

Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement techniques

Demonstrated knowledge of GMP, Quality Management System tools, continuous improvement methodologies & in-depth understanding of site level products & related processes.

High level of understanding of regulatory processes and environment for radiopharmaceuticals

Demonstrated ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders

Desired CharacteristicsMaster's degree from an accredited university or college with 3+ years of operational experience

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of our business

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams

Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs, established project management skills.
