DescriptionAccountemps is looking for an organized Full Charge Construction Bookkeeper for a local construction company in the Greater Palm Desert area. The primary responsibilities of the Bookkeeper would include:-Handling various aspects of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll-Completing bank reconciliations-Recording info onto the general ledger-Processing invoices and sending out billing in a timely manner-Business-to-business collections of delinquent accounts as needed via phone or email-Preparing and creating financial statements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends-Performing job costing-Entering journal entriesFor consideration, please email your resume to kaz.newton@accountemps.comRequirements3+ years of recent and relevant experience as a Bookkeeper in a construction environment
Strong Quickbooks experience
Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot Tables and V-lookups
Working knowledge of lien releases and preliminary statements
