Electrical Project Manager / Superintendent must oversee all aspects of the planning, implementation, and completion of electrical projects of construction or repair work for construction contractors. duties include examining plans and potential sites, as well as developing a plan to install all electrical wiring and equipment installation needs to a new or renovated building. Electrical Project Manager / Superintendent must develop and enforce a budget for their projects, as well as supervise workers and field personnel in implementing the electrical plan.
Also ensure all safety measures and regulations are followed, as accident prevention and worker safety are high priorities in this potentially dangerous environment. They monitor work progress and coordinate with the site coordinators or general superintendents to deliver progress reports. Testing and maintenance of completed facilities may also be the responsibility of electrical superintendents.
Electrical superintendents are needed on-site to develop their implementation plans and subsequently monitor activities of their work crews, ensure progress and safety, and oversee quality control testing once the project has been completed. The work environment may be indoors or outdoors depending on the project site; it is typically noisy and dangerous due to the surrounding construction activities and the nature of electrical work.
strong supervisory experience is a requirement, must manage a team of workers and meet goals independently of the other aspects of construction and with minimal oversight. Position requires a driver's license.
Oversee the installation of electrical systems in a new project, or inspect and repair of electrical systems in an existing building. Work to make sure contractors' terms are fulfilled and disputes are resolved. Manage project supplies so that products arrive on time and are purchased at lowest possible cost. Supervise workers, managers, and contractors to ensure their work follows plans and is on schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Point of contact for general contractors field superintendent
Possess complete knowledge of all drawings, specifications, construction schedules, electrical equipment submittals, and mechanical equipment submittals
Responsible for managing and training all jobsite field personnel
Responsible for providing and establishing a safe work place for all employees onsite
Responsible for the complete field execution of the construction and performance of the electrical contract work
Responsible for tracking jobsite materials and tools
Responsible for scheduling and conducting all jobsite inspections, testing, and owner training

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience
Basic computer knowledge, ability to navigate in Outlook and Excel
Able to work as a team and individually with a positive and professional attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be willing to travel. Job sites are in the inland empire and LA county
