The Batter Up Bakery in Temecula, CA is looking for a fulltime cake decorator to join our team. We are located on 26490 Ynez Rd Ste K. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.ResponsibilitiesThe Cake Decorator will be well versed in all aspects of cake decorating to include: the ability to decorate with buttercream and whip cream and cover in fondant, carve and sculpt shapes, cut-outs, and figurines.Position Requirements/ResponsibilitiesAssembling, decorating and Icing of Wedding Cakes, cupcakes, and special-order cakes, Cakepops and Chocolate decoratin cookies. Icing and stacking multi-tiered cakesSculpting figurines, shapes, and cut-out using molding chocolate and fondantOccasional delivery and set up of customer wedding cake orders on Saturday and Sunday'sMinimum Physical RequirementsThe position responsibilities frequently require:reading, comprehending, and following verbal and written instructionsperforming basic arithmetic to execute duties described aboveability to follow verbal and written instructionsThe physical demands of the position frequently include:repetitive bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting product weighing up to 50 poundsposition may require the ability to work in a production environment and occasionally entering a cold environment of 35 degrees to pull productQualificationsQualified candidates must be 18 years of age or older to work in our production facility, minimum of 2 year cake decorating experience in a bakery required.
