JOB SUMMARY

Reports to: General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Shift Manager, Supervisor

Wage Category: Hourly

Schedule: Monday through Sunday. Schedule may vary and will include nights, weekends, and holidays based upon business needs.

Provide consistently high-quality food products as featured on posted menus. Keep food items freshly stocked. Maintain food preparation for business on a daily basis. Keep kitchen and food storage areas clean and well maintained to the level of an "A" health inspection rating. Prepare any food item made available to our guests both on and off menu. Coordinate with management and group sales for special request items. Incumbents possesses a valid food handler's card. Cooks work under general supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Prepare quality food products in a consistent and timely manner.

2. Follows food preparation best practices.

3. Follows daily stocking, cutting, and thawing protocols.

4. Follows opening and closing kitchen checklists.

5. Follows weekly/monthly cleaning checklists.

6. Keeps work area and food preparation tables clean.

7. Prepares food in a manner consistent with all State and Federal regulations and laws.

8. Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience

1. A minimum of one year of fast food Cook and QSR preparation required.

Language Skills

1. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Mathematical Skills

1. Able to calculate ingredients, weights, and measures.

2. Basic math skills necessary to compute and calculate inventories, food requirements, etc.

Reasoning Ability

1. Able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
