What CLO Does:

CLO provides supported living services to persons with developmental disabilities, and is a Supported Living Service vendor of Inland Counties Regional Center (ICRC). Consumers that receive supported living services through CLO, are typically first referred to CLO by ICRC. CLO’s staff provides support to its consumers by teaching them the skills needed to live independently in their own homes, or by completing tasks for those who are authorized to receive physical personal support.

Job Location:

Although CLO’s office is located in Riverside, CA, CLO has staff working in many different cities in both Riverside County and San Bernardino County. If you are interested in this job, please inquire to find out which region or cities CLO is currently hiring for.

Compensation:

$13.00 per hour, plus $1.25 per hour for mileage compensation.

Qualified Applicant Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Have excellent personal and professional references.

- Be educated in or have experience in the Social Services industry.

- Have experience with people who have developmental disabilities including mental health challenges and/or

physical challenges.

- Have good writing skills.

- Be organized.

- Be punctual.

- Have a flexible schedule.

- Have and maintain a valid California Driver License.

- Have and maintain a good driving record.

- Have a reliable vehicle to use for the job.

- Have proof of and maintain current vehicle insurance.

- Be able to be cleared of having a criminal history according to the Department of Justice.

- Pass a Mantoux Tuberculosis test.

- Be CPR/First Aid certified.

- Be able to work in a team atmosphere with CLO’s consumers and their families.

- Be able to represent CLO, its high standards, and its consumers while maintaining utmost professionalism.

Basic Job Description For The Consumer Support Coordinator:

Consumer Support Coordinators assist CLO's consumers and their families by helping consumers gain and maintain life skills needed to remain independent while they live in their own homes, or providing personal support in accomplishing needed tasks for those who have physical challenges and are not able to complete certain tasks on their own, and are authorized to receive such services. Life skills might include (but are not limited to) cooking, cleaning, budgeting, meal planning and preparation, shopping, doctor and dental appointments, etc.
