ADMINISTRATIVE ASST / TRAINING SPECIALIST

The Lewis Group of Companies, one of the nation’s largest privately held real estate developers, is actively seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Training Specialist, located at the corporate office in Upland, Ca.

This career is an opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic, and detailed-oriented individual to to provide support to all employees across an award-winning and growing Company.

As our new Administrative Training Specialist, you will join the Lewis Human Resources/Training Team and provide daily training administration and coordination of our catalog of instructor-led and eLearning courses.

Your core responsibilities would include:

-Administration and management of the Lewis Learning portal (Absorb learning management system)

-Creation of courses and sessions; managing and ensuring the accuracy of employee data, training courses, training class -dates, enrollments, and more.

Managing the Lewis Learning Outlook inbox and calendar to manage and communicate class enrollments and information with employees through meeting invitations and emails.

-Training coordination of all training materials, various training rooms, meals, participants, and equipment.

-Training reporting – track and create employee and manager training participation reports, training transcripts, training evaluations and effectiveness.

-LinkedIn Learning administrator – manage user licenses, run reports, and provide client support.

-Compliance training – Enroll, track, and ensure completion and credit has been issued for Workplace Harassment and Advanced Fair Housing. Create and accurately maintain records and reports for compliancy.

-Administration and management of the Survey Monkey account – create and/or post employee surveys and provide data and reporting on results.

-Promote and market training classes (including LinkedIn Learning), information, and topic trends through a variety of platforms (including the Company Intranet) to keep employees informed of available training and special training events.

To be successful, your hard skills should include proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Pro, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel. Proactive management, attention to detail, analytical thinking, client-focused, written and verbal communication, innovation, time management skills, dependability and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and direction are required skill sets.

Previous training/learning and development experience preferred. A college degree is not required, but preferred. This is a full-time, Mon-Friday, 8am-5pm position with occasionally time flexibility to support training events.
