A Load Delivery & Inventory Clerk manages goods from arrival to shipment, involving receiving, checking, stocking, picking, packing, and loading, while maintaining accurate digital records, performing quality checks, and ensuring warehouse organization and safety. Key duties include data entry, coordinating with suppliers/drivers, physical handling (lifting, operating equipment), candidate must possess strong organization and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Receiving & Inspection: Verify incoming shipments against packing slips, inspect for damage, and process new stock.
Inventory Management: stock, and catalog items, update inventory systems in visual warehouse program, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
Order Fulfillment: Pull, pack, and stage orders accurately for timely delivery, ensuring completeness.
Loading & Delivery: Load trucks efficiently and coordinate with delivery drivers or external parties.
Documentation: Prepare shipping documents and maintain accurate records for transactions.
Warehouse Maintenance: Keep storage areas organized, clean, and safe
Qualifications & Skills
Education: High School Diploma/GED.
Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or retail is often required.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math, data entry, organizational skills, communication, and ability to lift heavy items.
Certifications: Forklift certification is often required or obtained shortly after hiring.
Work Environment
Warehouse/factory setting
Requires physical stamina, frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs, sometimes more.
Valid class c driver license required, Able to drive out of county if needed
