Private Investigation and collections Firm is seeking an employee to assist with background investigations, legal coordination, and commercial collections.
We are primarily interested in an individual who is comfortable speaking with people, very inquisitive and is highly organized. The major focus of this position is to conduct in depth background and asset investigations. You will learn from the best in the industry and your employee hours will count towards your investigative license. Another part of the job is to call commercial debtors and negotiate payments (most accounts are 100K – 5M USD each). However, we are hoping that this individual will eventually be able to take on greater responsibility and coordinate legal cases as well. As such, this position is ideal for an individual with a legal background or significant experience conducting research. Moreover, we are looking for someone who is very comfortable and familiar with various types of social media. Ultimately, we are search for someone who is intuitively inquisitive, but is also discreet as many of our cases require a level of confidentiality and inconspicuousness.
This position will require that any candidate have a varied skill-set, including (but not limited to) the following:
Answering phones
Client management
Public records research
Social media research
Report review and writing
Calling debtors and negotiating debts
Visiting debtors in person
Familiarity with business law and legal procedure
As many of our debtors are Chinese, ability to speak Mandarin is a big plus but not a necessity.
