A growing CPA firm in Redlands is looking for an Accounting Assistant/Office Admin.
Key responsibilities:
CPA firm provides tax, bookkeeping and payroll services to a number of clients so this role will have some involvement as an Assistant or Admin in all aspects of the business as needed to assist the Owner and Client Manager. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Process payroll for clients and making payroll tax payments.
- Perform basic bookkeeping/data entry in QuickBooks.
- Answer phone calls, call clients to schedule meetings and remind them about pending tasks and answering basic questions related to Admin functions etc.
- Scan and arrange tax documents during busy tax season
- Help with preparing mail packages for payroll and taxes
Required:
- High School diploma. Bachelors degree and/or some accounting knowledge will be a big plus.
- 2+ years experience in the some or all of the responsibilities outlined above.
- Similar experience in a professional services company will be a big plus.
