Inventory Specialist for SafeStreets USA assists the Inventory Control Manager in the oversight and protection of the inventory used by the company. This person must carry out the administration, distribution and return of inventory. Must be able to prioritize all tasks at hand to ensure weekly goals are met. This person must also establish and maintain positive relationships with our administration and operations teams as directed by the Director of Inventory.

Job Duties:

Primary responsibility is to request, process and return faulty equipment that has been entered into the spillage reporting system.

Secondary responsibility will be in assisting to redistribute equipment from our warehouse nationwide.

Reports on spillage return conditions to assist in identifying equipment trends with both the manufacturer and the installation department that may be an indication of a widespread national problem. Communicates spillage findings regularly to the Director of Inventory.

Tasked to maintain an efficient and accurate spillage return process with the ultimate goal of minimizing the need for repetitive email communication.

Responsible for continually keeping the technician and Installation Managers aware of the pending open transfers in the interest of maintaining both an efficient auto-replenishment process and spillage return process.

Will be assisting the Inventory Manager in the reconciliation of terminated technician equipment returned.

Must be able to maintain organization within the warehouse, to ensure all processes are done in a timely and orderly fashion.

Position Requirements:

Sets an example of professional tactful communication skills and a demeanor that is in accordance with

company policy

Quickly and willfully carries out The Inventory Control Process as Designed by the Inventory Director and Manager

Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Customer Service Experience preferred in order to fulfill a support role to the Installation Department

Superior organization, communication, and reporting skills

Capacity to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively

Excellent report writing and record keeping ability

Physical Requirements:

The Inventory Specialist position is approximately 30% physical and 70% sedentary. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
