On-site Apartment Manager available in San Bernardino, CA managing 51 units at Arrowhead Woods Apartments which is an affordable senior citizen community. There is also a 14 unit property, Yucca Apartments, that is a family market rate community nearby that is part of the job duties. This is a part-time 29 hour per week, Monday to Friday work week. My offer full-time hours for applicants that also can do maintenance work orders as well.
The position includes a FREE 1 bdrm apartment with hourly pay at $11/hour with mileage reimbursement of 48 cents per mile service. Some after hour work may be needed for extra pay.
Job duties include marketing and leasing apartments as needed, lease renewals, driving to the 14 unit property to service it as needed. This position also includes the daily cleaning of all common areas, customer service for residents, collecting rents, submitting assigned reports to corporate offices and inspecting units. The Senior Apartments require setting up and attending multiple events for the Seniors every month. This is a very independent work environment where you will be mainly working alone unsupervised out of your managers office. You will take direction under the Property Supervisor.
Qualifications require computer skills. Yardi and Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook software knowledge is highly desirable. Previous experience working with a property management company is required. Senior apartment experience a plus. Will need a valid driver's license and insurance. Will need to pass a drug and criminal background tests.
